TENCEL is known for its “drape”. It flatters the human form. The look is luxurious and refined for comfort. TENCEL is soft, breathable, lightweight and durable. Shrink-resistant and easy to care for, it is an exceptionally strong fiber both wet and dry. Color rich, TENCEL was created with color in mind, because of the fiber's high absorbency.
The fabrics can be dyed to high quality standards. Easy to maintain; TENCEL garments are easy to pack, resist wrinkling and dry quickly. All styles are machine washable and tumble dry. Always refer to care label.
Natural fiber from wood --------------------------------------------- Made from natural cellulose found in wood pulp, TENCEL is harvested from managed tree farms. Produced in a non-chemical manner, the fiber is economical in its use of energy and natural resources, and it's fully biodegradable.
Taking Care of Tencel --------------------------------------------- Garment dyed and laundered clothing offers a terrific easy care way to dress. Here are the simple basics of keeping our clothes looking their best.
Washing --------------------------------------------- Liquid detergent is best; when using powder make sure it is fully dissolved before putting clothes in the machine (not directly on the garment) Do not use detergent with bleach mixed in it or it will bleach itself. Woolite NOT Recommended It is best to wash your garment with similar colors. Remove from the washer and tumble dry immediately.
Do not apply stain removers directly onto garments. Stain removers sometimes fade the treated areas. We recommend a light liquid dish soap (joy) to be used on oily spots. We suggest just a couple of drops lightly rubbed into stain then thrown directly into wash.
Drying ------------------------------ Do not hang dry since it can occasionally produce streaking from residual dye. Garments should be tumble dried on medium heat and removed promptly from the dryer to avoid wrinkling
Remember to always tumble dry your Tencel garments. Tumble drying your Tencel garments softens the fabric to its original touch.
Ironing ------------------------------ Use a steam hot iron. For touch ups, iron on the wrong side. Iron seams and small parts first, larger sections last.
